There are routine medical examinations that are to be done during the life cycle of construction projects.
Pre Employment tests
Color vision, CBC, RBS, Blood grouping, HBs Ag, HIV (optiond)
During work once in 6 months or yearly
Skin tests, PFT, CBC, RBS, XRAY, ECG.
Government of Tamilnadu conducts regular camps and issue free medicines through mobile medical camps for the welfare of construction workers.
